Our project involved crafting a modern, durable, and inviting forever home for a CEO and their extended family. To achieve this, we started with a run-down existing home, demolishing most of it except for one wall and rebuilding on the original foundation. The exterior color scheme was carefully chosen to blend in with the natural surroundings, as an extension of its surrounding fabric.

Situated by the lake, the home has stunning views of the water year-round. To complement these vistas without overpowering them, we opted for light colors and natural tones throughout the interior, punctuated by occasional pops of color for visual interest.

Inside, the focus was on creating a light and bright ambiance, using mid tone walnut floors, accentuated by contemporary modern fixtures and furniture for a timeless and restrained aesthetic. Key areas, like the upgraded contemporary Kitchen and Master Suite, received special attention. In the Master Bedroom, we introduced a woven textile wallcovering with a subtle shimmer, elevating the space with a hint of luxury.

The Master Bathroom features a sleek floating vanity with integrated lighting, enhancing both functionality and style. To tie the design together, a custom large-scale artwork by Irina Negulescu was commissioned for the living room, incorporating the blues and natural colors found throughout the home.

A standout feature is the two-way freestanding fireplace, serving as a focal point in both the living room and dining area while subtly dividing the open-concept floor plan.
