This single family home in Evanston is a Victorian Farmhouse dating back to 1889! Our home owner loved its vintage elements and wanted to carefully preserve all the intricate details from the crown moldings, to the original aged hardwood doors and hardware, original wood burning fireplace and original hardwood floors. We were able to carefully refinish these elements to preserve its vintage charm and elegance while making significant updates to the kitchen and bathrooms.

 

We introduced modern top of the line fittings in the completely renovated kitchen, master bath and guest bath to reflect the owner’s love for the Mediterranean lifestyle, having lived in Turkey for several years.

 

Everything in this home has a heart, soul and purpose, reflecting the owners’ story and personality of world travelers and careful collectors of handcrafted artifacts.
